How often should you replace your blade drive or blade lever?

The answer is: regularly.  Why?  The blade drive or lever is what makes the cutter part of the blade move back and forth and cut hair.  Competitor clippers drive arms are typically made of plastic and hit metal 2000 times a minute, yet Laube drives or levers are made with patented metal-reinforced engineering resin to withstand Laube clippers 4000 to 10000 strokes per minute.  Drives or levers WILL wear down, and when they do, they can’t make full strokes anymore, which causes slowdowns, clipper tracks, blade drag, loss of time, and loss of money.  To resolve these issues veterinarians and groomers should replace the drive or lever as soon as they start showing signs of wear.  Laube Lever drive arms are available in a six pack for your conveinence.
